Terms of Service
The terms, in plain English.
Last updated October 3, 2026
1. Who we are
MyBuilder ("we", "us") is based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. We set up and run customer-getting systems for flooring, tile, construction and renovation businesses. These terms cover your use of mybuilder.ca and everything on it: the pages, Level, the booking calendar and the application forms. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't, don't use the site.
2. The site
The site is for information. We try to keep it accurate and current, and we change it without notice. Nothing on it is a contract until you and we sign one.
3. Level
Level is an automated assistant. It answers questions about MyBuilder and about running a flooring or tile business. It can be wrong, it can be out of date, and it is not advice: not legal, financial, tax or professional advice of any kind. Decisions you make after talking to Level are yours. Don't type passwords, payment details, health information or anything else sensitive into it. Messages you send to Level are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Booking a call and applying
When you book a call or submit a form, give us accurate information. By submitting it, you agree that we can contact you by email, phone or text about what you asked for, and about MyBuilder. You can tell us to stop at any time, by replying or by using the unsubscribe link in any message. Booking a call does not commit you to anything, and it doesn't commit us to work with you.
5. Our services and how we're paid
What we actually do for a client, when it starts, the setup fee, the seven-day refund of that fee, and the share we're paid on the jobs our systems bring in (including how those jobs are identified and counted, and what happens with lanes a client runs themselves) are set out in the written client agreement we sign with each client. That agreement governs. Statements on this site are summaries of it, and if they ever differ, the agreement wins. We don't promise any specific number of jobs, revenue, profit or business result; how a business performs depends on things outside our control, including what you do with the system.
6. Creator applications
Applying for a creator role through this site is an application, not an offer, and a reply from us is not an offer either. Any engagement is governed by a separate written agreement. We keep applications for a reasonable time so we can get back to you.
7. What's ours
The words, design, code, name and marks on this site belong to MyBuilder or the people who licensed them to us. You can read the site and share links to it. You can't copy, scrape, resell or republish it, or use our name or marks, without written permission. Content in our free community is covered by that community's own terms.
8. Using the site properly
Don't try to break the site, overload it, probe it, scrape it, feed Level abusive or unlawful content, or use anything on it to send spam. If you do, we can block you, and we may involve the authorities if the law was broken.
9. Other people's services
Parts of this site are provided by third parties: the booking calendar and forms (GoHighLevel), Level's replies (Anthropic), hosting (Netlify), fonts (Google) and our free community (Skool). Links to other sites are links; we don't control them or vouch for them. Each service has its own terms and privacy policy.
10. No warranties, limited liability
The site and Level are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind, as far as Alberta law allows. To the fullest extent the law permits, MyBuilder is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using, or not being able to use, this site or Level. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. Liability for our actual services is dealt with in the client agreement.
11. Alberta law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute about them goes to the courts of Alberta.
12. Changes
We'll update these terms when we need to and change the date at the top. Using the site after a change means you accept it.
13. Contact
Questions about these terms: book a call from the home page, or write to us at the address in your agreement or the one on our booking confirmation.
